HU.SLO app for iPhone and iPad

The application is designed to provide convenience for students in the following aspects:
1) Providing notifications about university events
2) Providing tutoring services

Attending events of the University:

Haigazian University holds several events throughout the semester organized by various clubs, committees and departments of the University. Students willing to participate in these events might sometimes forget or never receive the information that such an event is taking place. Therefore, in an attempt to solve this inconvenience, a part of the application is a Calendar which, if the event information is submitted to by the administrator account, will highlight the dates of upcoming events and notify students about new events taking place. The notification contains details about the specified time and place of each event as well as provide a brief description of that event. Students will also be notified if an event information is updated or if an event is starting. Tapping on the highlighted dates will show a popup box with the submitted information. If more than one event is submitted for the same date, a next and previous button will be visible on the popup box of that date to toggle through the events.
Students have the option to opt out of the notifications they are receiving by unchecking the checkbox found in the settings page.

Tutoring services:

In every educational institution, students will always strive to achieve better results. To help Haigazian University students who are willing to achieve this goal and/or are struggling to do so, the application provides a list of tutors they can contact from within the application. The information of tutors is submitted by the administrator account after a student applies to that role by contacting the Student Life Office and is accepted as a valid tutor. Thus, interactions remain solely between students.
In the tutors section, the Student Life Office account will always be pinned on the top so that students can have a direct contact to the office from within the application.
